Fireworks Information

Grantsville City wants to encourage all residents to be extremely careful with personal fireworks. Fireworks are permitted in designated areas only. These areas include west of Matthews Lane to Cooley Street and from Clark Street to Durfee Street.  Click here for map.  This map is from the Utah Fire Marshal website and updated for 2023.
If there is a dry vacant weed area close by, do not light fireworks.  Prevention at this time is our safest alternative.  To prevent a fire from encroaching on your home, keep the vegetation mowed short.  State and City code requires that fireworks are only allowed to be discharged from July 2nd-5th and July 22nd-25th, between the hours of 11 a.m. and 11 p.m., except that on July 4 and July 24, the hours are 11 a.m. to midnight.   State Code  53-7-224.  Please be careful and courteous.

The fireworks show will be Tuesday, July 4th around 10:00 p.m., launching from the Grantsville City Park.
